The configurator front-end is typically implemented as a "static website" using standard web technologies. The configurator back-end is typically implemented as a Microsoft .NET web application with Microsoft SQL Server database. For hosting we use cloud computing providers AWS, Azure and Cloudflare.
Your configurator can be hosted on it's own domain (e.g. configurator.mysite.com) or it can integrated into any page on your website using an iframe.
